This book gives the readers a systematic and complete account of the I/O software system of minicomputers. A detailed method of designing I/O software system of minicomputers, especially that of the PDP computers used for control and instrumentation is presented. The readers can refer to this book to write a driver or an ACP for the PDP hardware interfaces designed by themselves. It can assist students from the Departments of Control Engineering and of Computer Science to have a general idea about the I/O software system of minicomputers.
